Terms & Conditions

In today’s online shopping market, we believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s why we designed the most generous, fair and transparent store policy for our customers. Read the following sections to find out more about how we ship or exchange products, or about how we secure your personal data. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

By registering and accepting Eli’s Essence’s terms and conditions you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and all information and details provided are your correct, current and complete details. You agree that you will not use the website for criminal, fraudulent or illegal activity or in any manner which would cause harm or distress to any third party. If we suspect fraudulent account activity or behaviour we reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the website at any time without notice. 
 
If you wish to contact us please either email info@elisessence.com. Whilst every effort is made to deal with all enquiries within 48 hours during the working week, we do operate an email system so all emails will be dealt with in the order received. 

Images are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual product received. Colours on some items, in particular (but not limited to), cosmetic items, may vary due to limitations within the photographic process and screen variations. 

All stock and prices are subject to availability, items added to the basket may change as you proceed to checkout so please recheck your order before submitting payment. 

We accept payment by credit/debit cards: Visa Debit, Visa, Mastercard, or by PayPal. Eli’s Essence will not be liable for charges or payment processing fees, should they apply, associated to your chosen method of payment. 

All prices are in GBP(£) and include VAT. Eli’s Essence does not operate a price-matching policy. 

Where applicable, prices are shown in Euros (€) and US Dollars ($) are based on an average daily exchange rate.

When you add items to your shopping bag the prices will revert back to GBP (£) as we only currently transact in GBP (£) When your order is processed the total actually charged may vary dependent on the rate of exchange at that time. 

Eli’s Essence does not store any credit or debit card details, all card payments are made through a secure service. 

The price of a product shall be as stated on the website at the time you place your order except in the case of obvious error. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price. In this event, we will either contact you to confirm your order at the correct price, or cancel your order and ensure all funds are returned. 

Orders may be subject to extra security checks at our discretion. This may include confirmation of Credit/Debit card details, PayPal details, or full address details. Eli’s Essence reserves the right to request payment by an alternative method or cancel any orders if this information cannot be supplied.
 
In some circumstances, initial postage prices quoted at the time of order may not be sufficient to cover actual postage costs. Should this be the case, Eli’s Essence reserves the right to request payment of the price difference in the postage costs prior to fulfilling and dispatching the order. 

Eli’s Essence reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at any time, restrict quantities of certain items or deliver certain orders to the Billing Address only at the discretion of our management. 

Eli’s Essence reserves the right to withdraw, restrict the use of promotional codes and restrict the use of promotional codes in conjunction with one another. 

Once an order has been placed, Eli’s Essence is not able to guarantee that changes to an order can be made prior to the order being dispatched. 

Eli’s Essence reserves the right to leave blank any gift cards which are deemed to contain offensive or inappropriate language. 

If Eli’s Essence is unable to fulfill part or all of your order due to the stock becoming unavailable we will try to offer an alternative item or we will refund your payment for items we are unable to supply. Eli’s Essence will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation in any form for disappointment suffered. 

If customs or import duties are charged once the parcel leaves the UK these charges must be paid for by the recipient of the parcel. 

Please notify Eli’s Essence if your UK order which was dispatched by Standard Tracked or Express Tracked Delivery has not arrived after 15 working days. Orders dispatched outside the UK must allow 30 working days. Your parcel may then be deemed ‘missing’ and we can offer a replacement. No compensation will be granted in the rare event of a non-delivery. 

Due to restrictions shipping certain products to destinations off the mainland UK, additional postage costs may be incurred due to the number of products that can be sent per order. Should this be the case, Eli’s Essence will contact you to advise prior to the dispatch of the order. 

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988, we do not supply any of your details to a third party, unless you have given Eli’s Essence express permission to do so. 

Any complaints should be made by email to: info@elisssence.com. Where possible we try to acknowledge complaints immediately but all complaints will be acknowledged within 7 working days, the customer will be informed of all progress. 

Eli’s Essence shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
